A fortnight ago, KolaDaisi University, Ibadan celebrated the 5th convocation ceremony.
As usual, students graduated with different grades, from First Class to Pass.
With their hands and the choices they made, these students determined their fates from the first day they stepped into the university.
The grade a student graduates with is determined from the decisions the student makes right from 100 level.
To the fresh students, your destiny is in your hands. You have the privilege to mould it as you want.
Your choices, actions, and inactions all work together to shape you and your future.
As you make choices, note that you are gradually writing your ‘report card’. You are writing your grades. The decision to make a First Class is not made in the final year.

Graduating with a Pass isn’t determined by your final year result.
The foundation is built from 100 level.
Right now, the world is before you. Make your choices, whether good or bad.
I implore you, make good choices. Make wise decisions.
Make choices you would be proud of on your graduation day.
