By The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its nationwide protest scheduled for Thursday and February 2, 2022 over proposed removal of petrol subsidy by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The decision follows the proposal by the FG on Tuesday to extend the decision for 18 months.
But the NLC said it took the decision earlier at its National Executive Council meeting on Tuesday morning.
The Congress said the decision to suspend the protest was based on the suspension of the proposed removal of subsidy on petrol by the Federal Government.
