ABDUCTED former Provost of the College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Dr. Ayodele Adetayo Ajayi and his driver have been released.
Stonix News exclusively gathered that the duo were set free at around 6:00p.m along Odeda, Abeokuta.
Amid sketchy details, a source domiciled in the area said a ransom of N10 million was parted with before the duo could be released. Another source put the ending at N31 million.
The release came barely three days after they were kidnapped on Tuesday around 6:30p.m along Oko Oloji, after Olodo Oja, before Odeda, Abeokuta, Ogun State while returning from a function with his wife and driver.
No official statement from the Ogun State Police Command has been sighted as regards the development.
