DELSU National Association Of Okpe Students’ President Is Dead

THE president of the National Association of Okpe Students, Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, Comr. Akpemie Paul Akpere, has passed away.

The news of his demise was made known in a Facebook post by the former president of the association, Joseph Adjari.

The late Paul Akpere, an indigene of Okuokolo in Okpe Kingdom was sick of Typhoid Fever, and suddenly passed away on Tuesday evening at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH, Benin, where he was said to be recovering.

The former president Joseph Adjari took to Facebook to express his broken heart at the news of the deceased.

“My heart is broken, Akpere Paul you’re no more, what a black day, what a sad news.

“Keep resting my president National Association of Okpe Students, Abraka, since I left Abraka as Okpe students’ president, you guys gave me hope by the way you sustained the culture.

“Just August 20th I was with you to celebrate this year’s cultural day with you and even promised to mentor you.

“You had hope that I will be in government if Okpe becomes the Governor of Delta State come 2023, but today, the news of your death came to me. It’s hard to type RIP death why?” he lamented.
