AN explosion in the Okene area of Kogi State, a confluence state in Central Nigeria, has killed no fewer than three persons.
This is coming just few hours ahead of the state visit of the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari who’s billed to inaugurate some projects executed by the state.
Stonix News gathered that the incident happened on Thursday morning at the Oyinoyi’s Palace in Okenne Local Government Area of the state.
As of the time of filing this report, police operatives of the Anti-Bomb Unit had cordoned off the area.
The cause of the explosion which killed the deceased has yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing report.
