A pastor is feared dead following the caving in of Pastor Paul Enenche’s Dunamis Church located at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the Benue State.
Stonix News learnt that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
Four worshippers and the pastor were said to be engaging God in prayers inside the church building when the incident occurred.
The other three individuals escaped the wreckage, just as residential buildings and electricity infrastructure around the building were affected by the collapse.
The cause of the incident is however unclear, but when contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, Anene Sewuese Catherine, said she was not aware of the incident.
Meanwhile, police operatives from the C Division, North Bank, and emergency officials have been on the ground for rescue operation.
