THE Oyowe family of Ajaogbugbu quarters in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, has announced the burial arrangements for their late patriarch, Mr. Andrew Ebitoriseda Oyowe.
Affectionately known by the alias ‘Omitutu’, the late Mr. Oyowe, who was a cherished son, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather, will be laid to rest in a ceremony scheduled for Friday, the 21st of November, 2025.
The invite
According to a special invitation from the family, the day’s events will commence at half past six in the morning, when his body will be moved from the Warri Central Hospital Mortuary to the family compound in Koko for a lying-in-state.
This will be followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, Koko, at 11:00 AM. The final interment is scheduled for half past midday at the family compound.
Following the burial, the family will host a reception to entertain guests at the family compound from 1:00 PM.

The family has designated Mr. Omagbitse Oyowe as the point of contact for those wishing to confirm their attendance.
The community is expected to gather in numbers to pay their final respects to a man who was clearly a central and beloved figure within his family and the wider Koko community.
