Unite, Be At Peace, FEDPO Rector Charges Gbagi’s Family

RECTOR of the Federal Polytechnic Orogun (FEDPO), Dr. Duke Okoro, has charged the family of late Chief Kenneth Gbagi to unite and live in peace.

He gave the charge during his condolence visit to the late business mogul’s home at Oginibo, on Saturday.

Dr. Okoro described the former Minister of State for Education as a great man whose contributions to the legal profession and the nation will never be forgotten.

He added that Gbagi was a great philanthropist, who was very industrious and one of the greatest sons of Urhobo land, saying he would be greatly missed.

He thanked Chief Hope Gbagi, the deceased’s elder brother, for the great role he is playing to stabilise and ensure unity among the family.

Okoro prayed for the repose of the industrialist’s soul and asked God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

He enjoined the family to keep up with the legacy of excellence, service delivery to humanity for which the late silk was known for.

The family, in its response, appreciated the Rector’s gesture, describing it as a great show of solidarity and support in their time of grief.
