The four abducted final year students of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, and five others have been left off the hook.
They were reportedly freed Tuesday night with no clear-cut information on whether the N5 million ransom demanded by their abductors was paid or not.
Stonix News had, Tuesday, reported that the victims were kidnapped along the now dangerous Eku-Abraka Highway, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, last Saturday.
The abducted students were identified as Arogbo Harriet Seyifunmi, Azunobi Prosper, Miracle Etavbwobor Robert, all 500 level students of the Department of SLT Chemistry and Adegor Aghogho Happiness, a 500 level student of Electrical Engineering.
All four students were said to have recently concluded their final examinations before the incident.

Confirming their release on Wednesday, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, said “I think that they (kidnappers) got a clue that our troops were closing in on them so they hurriedly released all of them last night (Tuesday).”
