Get-Rich-Quick Syndrome: CSP Adejobi Identifies Societal, Institutional Error, Calls for Necessary Reforms

Rita Enemuru, Reporting

The Force Public Relations Officer(FPRO), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has called on the entire level of society to take positive steps towards reforming the Nigerian society from inside out.

Clarifying the role played by all members of the society which is rooted in the get-rich-quick mentality in the youths, he called for a repair of the current nonchalant mindset of sensitive structures in the Nigerian society.

CSP Adejobi made this call in a public lecture themed “Insecurity and Get-Rich-Quick Syndrome: Implications for the Nigerian Society” held by the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

The lecture had in attendance the Chief Host and Provost of the College, Dr. R. A. Soyele and the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Police Command, CP Lanre Bankole, psc, who emphasized the important role of the family in tackling the danger of insecurity in the land.

The presentation gave credence to the fact that the school, beside the family, remains a vital ground for breeding positive ideas for development in the nation.
