By A group operating under the aegis of Oyo For Makinde (OFM), supporting the second term bid of Governor Seyi Makinde, has implored the people of the state to troop out en masse on Saturday, March 11, and cast their votes for the incumbent’s victory at the polls.
The Director of OFM, Tokunbo Olaitan, said in statement that was made available to journalists on Tuesday, March 7, in Ibadan the Oyo State capital.
Olaitan said Makinde’s re-election would enable him to complete ongoing projects, which, he said, had been of benefit to the people of the state, and applauded by indigenes and non-indigenes within and outside the country.
He said the group had, since November 2022, commenced a state-wide campaign for the re-election bid of Makinde by showcasing his administration’s modest achievements by visuals in over 400 locations across the 33 local government areas of the state in the last three years.
“We have gone round the state with our visual campaigns to showcase the modest achievements of Governor Seyi Makinde (GSM) in the last three years or thereabout, and we can make bold to say that he is greatly appreciated and widely accepted by the people of the state,” Olaitan said.
He, therefore, urged the electorate to demonstrate their love for the PDP governor through massive votes in order to actualise the governor’s second term re-election.
