THE Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) Delta State Council, has inaugurated the Fresh Angle International Newspaper Chapel in Warri, Delta State.
Inaugurated on Friday July 19, the NUJ admonished members of the chapel to uphold the ethics of the journalism profession.
The inauguration ceremony was performed by the NUJ Chairman in Delta State, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, in accompaniment of the State Secretary of the union, Comrade Victor Sorokwu, Comrade Felix Ekwu, Vice Chairman, and Comrade Celestine Afokoba, Internal Auditor.

Oyowe congratulated the leadership of the chapel for its emergence.
He encouraged members of the chapel to carry themselves with dignity and show respect for one another, especially for elders in the profession.
Comrade Oyowe also said they should be committed to the discharge of their constitutional duties, which Section 20 of the 1999 Constitution (As Amended) empowers them to do.
A three-member caretaker committee of the chapel was inaugurated and they comprised Mrs. Yvonne Suowari, Chairman, Onyeka Lilian Adudu, Secretary, and Comrade Chimaraobi Nzeremobi, member.
In her acceptance speech on behalf of the chapel, Mrs. Suowari assured the NUJ leadership that Fresh Angle International Newspaper Chapel will join other chapels to strive towards restoring the dignity of journalism across the state.
