TACHA, a popular reality star, was overcome with emotion as she reacted to the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti.
Recall that the senator’s suspension came after she accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of victimizing her for rejecting his advances.

Although the allegations haven’t been substantiated, the senate suspended her for six months, sparking widespread outrage on social media.

Many perceive the suspension as unfair and unjust, with some questioning the senate’s decision-making process. Tacha, visibly shaken by the video, wondered aloud if women have any rights in the country.
“It’s crazy,” she said. “It sounds like it’s a crime to be a woman. See what this woman is going through for literally speaking up, it’s crazy”.
