JUST IN: Ace Yoruba Radio/TV Presenter, Abiodun Oropo, Passes

Popular Yoruba radio/television presenter, Alhaji Abiodun Oropo, also known as Oyinmomo joojo, has passed.

The ace presenter, according to close friends, died late Saturday evening – day of Muslims annual Eid-el-Kabir festival after he suddenly took ill two days earlier.

Stonix News gathered that after he suddenly took ill two days ago, all efforts made to get a working treatment for him abortive before he eventually passed late Saturday night.

Until his death, Oyinmomo joojo was renowned in radio programmes on FaajiFm, Dux FM and several other radio stations across the south west.

He was also a reliable member of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria.

Oropo was interred according to Islamic rites Sunday noon at his residence in Orile Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria.
