FROM an earlier postponement to Wednesday September 28, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has, again, shifted the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) members’ inauguration indefinitely.
Stonix News reports that the postponement was sequel to continued irregularities being pointed out by some aggrieved members of the party.
Before the indefinite postponement, the Director, Media, and Publicity, PCC, Bayo Onanuga, had, late Sunday night, announced a shift in the date earlier scheduled for today Monday, to Wednesday, September 28th.
The development, it was gathered, did not sit well with some members on the list, particularly some APC governors whose lists have not been considered.
The suspension of the PCC members’ inauguration, therefore, became necessary in order to address key issues from the governors who raised concerns on behalf of their former colleagues and serving ministers who were being placed to serve as committee members under the chairman of Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Kolade Alabi.
Meanwhile, Stonix News also gathered that members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party have backed the postponement.
They reportedly said the postponement would allow for more time to address the pending grievances including the PCC’s alleged marginalising in the appointment of its members.
