Ola ‘Kiya, Reporting
Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, is holding a close-door meeting with former Governor Rashidi Ladoja and other members of the Olubadan-in-Council.
Stonix News gathered that the meeting started shortly after the governor attended the Armed Forces Rememberance Day event on Saturday.
The Armed Forces Remembrance Day held on Saturday at the Rememberance Archade, opposite the Government House, Agodi Ibadan.
All things being equal, the governor with Olubadan-in-Council will address journalists after the meeting.
Feelers had it that the meeting might not be unconnected with the issues on Olubadan succession plan.
Recall that the High Chief Lekan Balogun and his colleagues who got the controversial crowns of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi had recently agreed to drop their crowns as Oba and return to their High Chief status as advised by Gov Makinde.
Done, the seamless succession tradition of Ibadanland is expected to set sailing again.
