FEW weeks after ascending the throne after the demise of his boss, the governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has booted out all members of the state cabinet.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Wednesday.
Those ousted also included all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs), besides the commissioners.
Aiyedatiwa, who thanked the cabinet members for their contributions to the development of the state, said they should “hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.”
The terse message read thus:

DISSOLUTION OF THE ONDO STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the State Executive Council, with immediate effect.
All members of the Cabinet are to immediately hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.
Also, all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) are relieved of their duties, with immediate effect.
All the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.
The Governor thanks the affected officials for their services and contributions to the development of the State.
