By FIVE days after his demise and burial, President Bola Tinubu has renamed the University of Maiduguri as Muhammadu Buhari University (MBU).

President Tinubu made the announcement on Thursday at the session of tributes of the Federal Executive Council (NEC) in honour of his late predecessor.
The late military general passed last Sunday in a London clinic and was interred in his Daura country home on Tuesday – a day declared public holiday in his honour.
