By THE Ondo State Police Command is investigating the death of two lovers in a house located at Ayeyemi area of Ondo town, Ondo State.
The bodies of the two lovers were discovered in a copulating position on Thursday, indicating that they were having sex before they suddenly gave up the ghost.
Sources said the manhood of the middle-aged male lover identified as Eric was found stuck in the private part of his unidentified girlfriend in the room.
A source said it took the help of a medical doctor to separate the remains of the two secret lovers.
The cause of the death of the two lovers still remains unresolved as of the time of Sunday evening.
However, a source attributed the death of the lovers to electrocution during the sex romp, leading to their death.
“The generator was running in the premises while they were charging their phone and a socket was placed close to the bed.
“The naked wire might have had contact with the bed resulting in their electrocution,” the source claimed.
Another source said the relatives of the deceased found them dead the following day when they checked on him after they failed to answer their calls.
He said they looked through the window, where they found them in that position and had to break the door.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Funmi Odunlami, said investigations had commenced into the incident.
She said “The man and the woman are lovers who were known by both relatives.
“They died in the room but they were not stuck together. We are yet to know the cause but the investigation had commenced.”
