THE National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced that its candidates are to pay N50,000 to reprint certificates.
The NECO Registrar, Dantani Wushishi made this known in a public notice made available to journalists in Minna, Niger State.
It was stated that the N50,000 reprinting fee is subject to review and that requests for the reprints will only be entertained within one year of the original certificate issuance.
Furthermore, the Council also introduced a one-month window for candidates to request corrections to their results, starting from the official release date of the results.
“Request For Re-print Of Certificate.
“The National Examinations Council (NECO) wishes to inform its numerous candidates/ clients and members of the general public that:
“One year after issuance of original Certificate, Council will no longer entertain request for re-print of same.
Request for correction of result will be entertained within one month after the release of such result.
“Request for re-print of Certificate will now attract a fee of fifty thousand Naira (N50, 000.00) only, subject to review.
“Please note that the Council Is not liable for any registration error committed by any school/candidate,” the notice read.
