It has become a trend that some internet users, in an attempt to gain mileage off social media, post celebrities’ pictures with the caption, “RIP.”

Stonix News understands that this trend is widespread across all social media.

Reacting, aggrieved movie stars came together to rain heavy curses on those behind the actions.

In the video that surfaced on social media, according to Ayeni Abayomi on Facebook, the movie stars could be seen with calabash as they rain incantations and curses on all those spreading death rumours against their colleagues in the industry.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwasina recently debunked rumours about her passing, making it clear that she is alive.

Bukunmi had shared a black-and-white image of herself with a shaved head on her Instagram.

She accompanied the photo with a strong message:

“Everyone wishing You or Me death shall be buried before the end of 2024.”

In another post, the Jagun Jagun star shared a post with the caption:

“Psalm 118:17. The verse reads, “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.”

The videos of the actors raining curses come in the wake of the swirling widespread practice of social media users falsely claiming the death of many Nollywood stars.
