A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief John Nani, has described the victory of Sheriff Oborevwori in the March 18 governorship election as in the best interest of Deltans.
Nani commended voters in the state and Deltans at large for their resilience and unwavering support towards the electoral victory of Oborevwori
Chief Nani, who is the current Executive Director of Finance and Administration of DESOPADEC, spoke at his country home of Jesse in Ethiope West Local Government Area of the state while reacting to the declaration of Oborevwori as the winner of the governorship election.
While congratulating Rt. Hon. Oborevwori for the victory, Chief Nani noted that now that Deltans had spoken with their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), the Governor-Elect should be given all the needed support.
He vowed that Rt. Hon. Oborevwori would not disappoint Deltans, adding that he was a tested and proven leader..
He said the Governor-Elect was very much aware of the needs of the people, stressing that Delta State was on the threshold of sustainable development through the consolidation of the Okowa-led administration’s achievements.
