Rita Enemuru, Reporting

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ofuoma Town, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Olorogun Theo Mukoro, says the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, is better-positioned and favoured to win the March 18 governorship election in the state.

Mukoro, who’s the Ughelli North Co-ordinator, Tinubu, Chief Ede Dafinone and Ovie Omo-Agege Governorship Campaign Council, gave the assurance on Sunday in Ofuoma, Delta State.

The YOMATECH boss said under the earth, there is time and season for everything, adding that 2023 was the time and season for Omo-Agege to become the governor of Delta State.

Mukoro called on Deltans to embrace the wonderful opportunity on March 18 to vote massively for Omo-Agege and his deputy, Hon. Friday Osanebi.

He noted that the incoming government of Omo-Agege and Osanebi will benefit the state beyond expectations.

He, however, congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President-elect and Alhaji Kasim Shettima, Vice President-elect for their electoral victory.

He also thanked the people of Delta Central Senatorial District for electing Ede Dafinone as Senator for the 10th National Assembly.

Mukoro expressed optimism that the resolve by Deltans, irrespective of affiliations, to elect Omo-Agege as the next governor of Delta state, remains sacrosanct.

According to him, “The governorship election on March 18 is very important to Deltans and the state.

“It will be a moment and a day to elect a Governor that is more qualified and generally accepted by Deltans. And that person is Ovie Omo-Agege.”
