One-Chance Syndicate Busted in Ibadan As Police Nab Two, Recover Vehicle

IN a major breakthrough against criminal elements plaguing the Ibadan metropolis, the Oyo State Police Command has arrested two suspects allegedly involved in a notorious “one-chance” robbery syndicate.

The arrests, which took place around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed the circulation of a viral video exposing the gang’s activities.

Prompt intelligence and tactical action led to the apprehension of 42-year-old Kolawole Moshood of Olomoyeye Muslim Area and 45-year-old Opeyemi Kuburat of Beyerunka, Ibadan.

The suspects were caught with their operational vehicle, a Toyota Primera bearing registration number FST 779 DL, used in their robbery activities.

The state police command, through its official X handle @OyoPoliceNG, confirmed the development and assured residents of intensified efforts to dismantle all criminal networks operating in the city.

A comprehensive investigation has been launched to uncover the full extent of the gang’s operations.
