PETER Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, has extended his congratulations to Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci on achieving a new Guinness World Record for cooking the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, an impressive 8,780 kilograms, in partnership with Gino Nigeria at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
In a statement on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Obi hailed Baci’s accomplishment as a “powerful symbol” of what Nigerians – particularly young people – can achieve when passion and dedication are nurtured with the right opportunities.

“Let me again congratulate Hilda Baci on her extraordinary Guinness World Record for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, reaching 8,780 kilograms,” Obi wrote.
