Police Recover Body Of Okada Rider Dumped In Cassava Farm

The body of a commercial motorcycle rider has been recovered by operatives of the Bayelsa State Police Command after it was dumped in a cassava farm at Emeyal II Community, Ogbia Local Government Area, of the state.

The deceased rider, identified as one Goodnews Okirinya, 30, was allegedly murdered by unknown assailants, who also stole his motorcycle before dumping his body in the farm.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bayelsa State Command, SP Asinim Butswat, said the body was discovered on 30 May, 2022 at about 09:15a.m.

According to him, the Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, CP Ben Nebolisa Okolo, has ordered operatives to unmask and arrest the culprits.

“The scene was visited by operatives, photographs taken and the corpse was evacuated to the hospital for autopsy. Investigation is ongoing,” Butswat retorted in a statement made available to Stonix News in Warri.
