FOLLOWING concerns over poor governance, maladministration and economic hardship, mothers from the Niger Delta have planned a special spiritual deliverance service to exorcise their leaders, especially governors.
The event, titled “Niger Delta Governors Spiritual Deliverance Service Day,” is scheduled for Saturday 15 February 2025 surprisingly in Lagos.
Comrade Joseph Evah, National Coordinator of the Ijaw Monitoring Group, will lead prayers for divine wisdom and governance.
Stonix News gathered that the service will focus on governors from Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Cross River, Ondo and Rivers states.
Attendees, according to a poster, will receive Bibles as part of efforts to promote moral leadership and economic responsibility.
The initiators draw inspiration from early Niger Delta leaders who prioritised development and industrialisation ahead of personal aggrandisement.
This is because the organisers believe that spiritual intervention will help restore prosperity, accountability, and good governance in the impoverished region.
