By GOVERNORS on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) say they have received a directive from President Bola Tinubu to spearhead peaceful conduct of primary elections in their respective states.
The governors led by Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak of Kwara and chairman of the Progressive governors’ forum, Hope Uzodimma of Imo state into the state house this Thursday evening.
The meeting with the president and leader of the party lasted about thirty minutes behind closed door.
Afterwards, the governors revealed that they have received guidance from the president for the conduct of the primaries.
