WIVES in their matrimonial homes have been warned to abhor the habit of praying for the death of their mothers-in-law in order to enjoy peace.
Wife of the General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle (GFT), Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Pastor (Mrs.) Florence Ariole, gave the warning on Sunday while delivering a sermon on Sunday.

She said women should be loyal to their mother-in-laws and the families they’re married into and not pray for them (mothers- in-law) to die.
Pastor (Mrs.) Ariole admonished on the topic: “Serving the Lord with all humility,” and drew her text from Acts 20:19.
“You know you will be mothers- in-law, one day, too and if your daughters-in-law pray for you to die, it’s not good,” she quipped.
The woman cleric said women should also love everyone in the husband’s family, noting that even if there are cases of witches and wizards in the families, they can take time to pray and break themselves out.
She pointed out that humility is the quality of being free from pride, urging wives to be humble in order to be able to pilot their homes, well.
Pastor (Mrs.) Ariole added that women should always forgive their fellow women in their families, work and business places.
