THE Imo State Police Command has arrested a suspected serial killer popularly known as Kpurukpuru and his gang members.
He’s believed to be the gang leader of a killer-squad behind major killings along the Okigwe-Arondizuogu highway.
The suspect was arrested according to the Imo State police spokesperson, Michael Abattam, along the Okigwe axis.
He was nabbed alongside other members of his gang by the tactical unit of the police.
A short video by the Imo Police Command shows three females and four males arrested alongside the suspect.
The suspect and his gang were said to be responsible for the killing of security operatives in the state as well as innocent citizens within Imo and neighbouring states.
