TikToker Who Defamed Pastor Adeboye Freed

BARELY three days after Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) asked for his release, the Nigeria Police Force has freed TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo, otherwuse known as TikToker SeaKing, from custody.

This was disclosed on Monday by the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, on via X.

SeaKing was arrested on allegations of cyberbullying Pastor Adeboye, following remarks made during a live session in December 2024.

Sowore said he was a signatory to the administrative bail before SeaKing was freed.

'SeaKing's Fulfilling Destiny, Release Him,' Adeboye pleads

Adding a photo of SeaKing in a car smiling, Sowore wrote, “We are pleased to confirm that Olumide Ogunsanwo @seaking303 has been released from @PoliceNG custody after our prompt rejection of the initial bail condition requiring a Level 12 or 10 civil servant, resulting in a swift agreement and release on administrative bail, signed by me.”

Stonix News had reported that that the octogenarian cleric had earlier distanced himself from the arrest of the TikToker, saying he (SeaKing) was only fulfilling prophecy.

This is just as the management of RCCG through its public relations office on Monday clarified that in spite of Pastor Adeboye’s position, the legal action against SeaKing would subsist.
