A middle-aged truck driver, Muyiwa Sikiru, has reportedly tied his wife to a pole in the Oke-Aro area of Akure, Ondo State capital.
Sikiru was said to have discovered that his wife has been cheating on him by camping a man in their matrimonial home.
Stonix News gathered that the truck driver, who hails from Osun State, had been away from home for over a month.
His usual journey guarantees his source of livelihood from which he carers for his family.
On his eventual return on Saturday, he reportedly caught a man living in his apartment with his wife and their three-year-old son.
A source close to the family explained that Sikiru had been responsible for the upkeep of his wife and son without let.
He said Sikiru had to cut short his journey after a friend gave him a tip-off on the development in his home.
As told, he met the man co-habitating with his wife taking his shower in the bath.
”Sikiru was infuriated with what he discovered when he got home and dragged out his wife, tied her hands and legs and tied her to the well beside the house.
“This attracted neighbours, and the lover man, who was still in the bathroom, escaped through the backdoor before the truck driver could nab him,” the source further narrated.
The truck driver, however, tied the woman to a pole amid pleas from neighbours.
The incident was later reported at the nearest police station where the couple have been invited.
