TWITTER users have reacted to a Nigerian lady who took to the platform begging for a husband in a viral video in France.
The lady, who said age was no longer on her side, was seen in the viral video kneeling the Nigerian cultural way and pleading in pidgin for a husband.
She said she had hostels in Ahuada and Lagos and that she was ready to make a handsome monthly payments to any man who agreed to be her husband.
“Abeg abeg I need husband, my age dey go and I no need to dey shame again. I won marry. I get a two hostel buildings for Ahuada.
“I get a house for Lagos and I get African Shop for France for here. I go dey pay any man wey go marry me monthly salary.
“Anybody wey go take me as wife, send me a direct message,” she pleaded in pidgin.
While some Tweeps said she was being desperate, one Austine Okonkwo wished her luck and prayed for her to get her heart desires.
Reacting to the video, one uncharitable tweep @AderetiBukola said: “Time wey u dey run ya mouth say u no fit marry person wey no tall, handsome, rich, etc na the result be this oo, well God will provide 4u.”
@Homodayo warned: “You don’t need to lure spouse through monetary value b’cos they will not love you wholeheartedly, but your wealth.
“Most men who will DM you only come for the money.
“You can get someone that truly loves you in France or Europe, but never stretch your hand of seeking suitor to Naija.”
“Don’t worry, miracle no de tire Jesus my dear, for me, all u need is prayer and ask God for forgiveness,” @OnweOliver commented.
