PREMIER university, the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Ibadan, has revised its 2021/2022 Academic Calendar and fixed Monday, October 24, 2022 for students to resume academic work.
This was sequel to the suspension of the eight-month strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), academic activities on October 14.
Stonix News gathered that the new date was announced by the University Senate on Monday, October 17, at a meeting.
The management revised the 2021/2022 academic calendar which initially kicked off on January 30, 2022, before it was disrupted by the ASUU strike.
Although yet to be officially announced, the Dean of Students, Professor Keye Abiona, told UIUCJ that students are expected back on campus on Sunday, October 23, while lectures would commence on Monday, October 24.
