WARRI South Local Government Area of Delta state has issued a notice of a weeklong closure of some select roads in Warri.
This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday November 13 by the chairman of the local government area, Dr. Michael Tidi.
He explained that the temporary closure would take effect from Monday November 14.
Dr. Tidi said Ubeji Roundabout will be closed between 7:00a.m and 9:00a.m, while motorists plying the listed route are enjoined to use Elizabeth Close.
He added that the weeklong closure will also affect Okere Square, urging motorists in the axis to use alternate routes like Eboh Road and Warri – Sapele Road.
While noting that Edjeba community road from SPDC Gate will also be temporarily shut down, Dr. Tidi advised road users to ply the DBS Warri route as an alternative.
