AS Lagos State prepares for its highly anticipated 2025 Local Government Elections scheduled for Saturday, July 12, Honourable Toheeb Ajakaiye, popularly known as General Beehot, is contesting for the position of Councilor for Ward B in Apapa Local Government under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Born on December 16, 1995, Honorable Toheeb, a graduate of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), brings both academic credentials and grassroots credibility to the race.

Widely known in Lagos for his music career, the recording artist has built a name for himself through songs that have resonated with the local populace.

Speaking to Stonix News, his Personal Assistant, Muhammad Abdulhadi, described Toheeb as a passionate community advocate who has long been committed to improving lives in Apapa.

“Hon. Toheeb is a humble man and a philanthropist. He carries the burdens of those around him and always looks for ways to lift others,” Abdulhadi stated.
He further explained that Toheeb’s decision to run for office was inspired by a growing movement encouraging Nigerian youth to assume leadership roles in the country.
“For a long time, aspiring young leaders have been denied opportunities at even the grassroots level. Hon. Toheeb wants to change that narrative,” he added.
With security measures reportedly in place, Lagosians are expected to head to the polls tomorrow in a bid to elect representatives across local councils, including ward-level positions like the one Hon. Toheeb is contesting.
If elected, supporters say they believe Toheeb will bring creativity, empathy, and energetic leadership to Apapa’s Ward B.
