A New Jersey woman has been charged with alleged shooting of her husband to death on Christmas Day.
According to the 51-year-old woman, Marylue Wigglesworth, she had been in a fight with her husband, David B. Wigglesworth, in the evening of 25th of December, when she picked up her husband’s pistol and shot him.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office also reported that Marylue called 911 and told responding officers that she just shot her husband, David, who happens to be a figure in local Republican politics.
When officers got to her residence in the 5200 block of Mays Landing Somers Point Road, they met her husband in a pool of his own blood and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“A tragedy occurred on Christmas evening.
“Mrs Wigglesworth is innocent of the charge against her
“The facts of that heart-rending evening will unfold in a court of law, not the court of public opinion”.
