By A father has been arrested in Warri, Delta State, for killing his 12-year-old son over a missing N100.
The killer-father, whose name has not been ascertained, in trying to punish the boy for stealing drenched him with a premium motor spirit otherwise known as petrol.

In a video posted by Warri Aproko II on Facebook, the suspect was seen kneeling in the middle of policemen and neighbours explaining what he did to his son.
According to him, after the boy stole the N100, he decided to punish him by pouring petrol on his head until the boy choked to death.
The boy, while being choked with the petrol, began to foam from his nostrils and mouth before he passed.
The policemen in uniform, who were interrogating the man, ordered him to bring out the corpse of the boy from the room.

Amid a horde of neighbours and armed cops, he was seen carrying the corpse wrapped in white clothes and bringing him out of the room to the waiting van of the police.
Details of the tragedy as it relates to the actual identities of the family and the part of Warri the incident occurred are yet to be ascertained.
