ESUT Alumni Appoint TANTITA MD, Kestin Pondi, As Grand Patron

THE Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Alumni Association, Delta State Branch, has appointed the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), Chief Kestin Pondi, as its Grand Patron in recognition of his outstanding contributions to education and philanthropy.

The appointment was made at an emergency meeting of the association held in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

The delegation, led by Comrades Phillip Ophilus and Harrison Itulua, officially conveyed the decision to Chief Pondi during the meeting, which lasted several hours.

In his acceptance remarks, Chief Pondi expressed gratitude to the Alumni for the honour, describing it as a recognition that connects him deeply to his academic roots.

“I sincerely appreciate this honour from my Alma Mater,” he said. “ESUT laid the foundation for who I am today.

“I commend the Delta Branch for building a strong and functional Alumni network and urge members to uphold transparency and accountability in all their activities.”

Speaking with journalists in Warri, Comrade Harrison Itulua, who also serves as the National Public Relations Officer of the Citizens Rights Concern Enhancement Initiative, popularly known as the Human Rights Protection Congress (HRPC), described Pondi as a man of compassion and integrity.

According to him, “Chief Kestin Pondi has been helping students since his university days.

His philanthropic gestures have continued to touch lives across communities, regardless of class or background.”

He added that the appointment was well-deserved and prayed for God’s continued guidance, strength, and prosperity upon Chief Pondi and his endeavours.
