Tension as dare devil robbers, on Thursday, attacked a bullion van at Idi-Ape area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Unconfirmed sources said two policemen were felled by the bullets of the robbers who shot sporadically while carrying out the operation.
Two others, believed to be civilians, were also killed in the attack on Thursday afternoon.
The daredevils rained pellets on the bullion van which was abandoned by the roadside after the operation.
It could not be confirmed if the gunmen successfully made away with monies in the hijacked bullion van which was riddled with pellets.
Stonix News gathered that the bullion van was coming from one of the new generation banks located around Testing Ground when the robbers laid an ambush.
Oyo State Police Command has yet to react to the incident.
