THE 2022 Delta State Annual Teachers’ Award for Excellence will hold on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.
A statement from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Oghoro, said there would be an award/dinner being organised by the Delta State Government to mark the World Teachers Day.
The event is scheduled to commence at 6.00p.m at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.
The statement added that the award ceremony is designed to recognise and appreciate the outstanding efforts and contributions of teachers towards the growth and development of the society.
It added that some teachers, who had distinguished themselves in the performance of their official duties, would receive awards from the Delta State Government at the event.
