THE Anambra State Government has sealed off a shrine in Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area, allegedly linked to Ekene Igboegbueze’s illicit activities.
The shrine was closed due to complaints from the local community and a viral video showing Igboegbueze claiming to offer supernatural wealth services.
The government also confiscated properties acquired with proceeds from the alleged illegal activities.

Recovered items from the shrine will undergo forensic testing to determine further action.
The operation was led by Ken Emeakai, Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security.
Chinenye Ihenko, Director of Operations for Agunechemba Security Outfit, warned youths against patronizing fake native doctors and pastors who promise quick wealth.
