Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, has described the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Ministry of Justice, (Dr) Onoriode Etatsemi as a resilient and committed civil servant whose performances in discharging his duties are worthy of commendation.

On the occasion Dr Onoriode Etatsemi, an Assistant Director of Information, Delta State buried his mum, Mrs Maria Tatsemi at her family compound Umuebu road Obiaruku.
Aniagwu stated this at Obiaruku in Ukwuani Local Government Area of the state during the burial ceremony of late Mrs. Maria Etatsemi, mother of the Justice PRO.
The Information Commissioner, who was represented on the occasion by the Director of Printing and Publication Services, Mr. Lucky Omokri, said that though the death of Mrs. Etatsemi had created a vaccum and brought the family into mourning, the children should take solace in the fact that their mother lived a fulfilled life.
He urged the children to always sustain the legacies of their mother and, as well, cooperate as one at all times.
In an interview with newsmen , the Functioning Solicitor-General/ Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Mr. Omamuzo Erebe, said that death was an inevitable end to humanity.
While calling on the children of the deceased to continue to love one another and ensure the unity of the family, he enjoined them to put their trust in God even as he prayed for God’s guidance and protection over the children.
Erebe, however, described Etatsemi as an efficient and effective civil servant.
He stressed that he had always carried out his official responsibilities with the expected commitments and diligence.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the burial ceremony, the first son of the deceased, Etatsemi said he was pained by the death of his mother.
He stated that the deceased impacted so much on their lives by giving them a solid foundation in life.
Etatsemi, who could not hold back tears while reading his mother’s biography, appreciated Justice/Information ministries staff for being there for them at their trying moment.
He also appreciated others, who attended the event, as well as all those who supported them through prayers, morally and financially in their moment of grief.

O Monye, Ministry of Justice, Mr. Patrick Osisioma, Director of Administration of Criminal Justice, Director of Public Prosecution, Mrs Efe Odogwu, Chairman of Law Officers Association of Nigeria, Delta State chapter, Mr. Thomas Anigala, Mr Edonwonyi, Deputy Director, Administration of Criminal Justice, Paulette Popo Esq, Head of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Delta State Chambers, and the Vice Chairman of the Delta State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comr. Salvation Ogono, a cross section of information officers among other well-wishers from the Ministry of Justice and Sapele including Jesse in Ethiope West Local Government Area..
