Apostle Suleman Sparks Debate After Declaring Oral Sex ‘Not A Sin’ For Married Couples

THE General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has stirred a wave of debate among Christians and social media users after declaring that oral sex is not sinful when practised within marriage.

The cleric made the comment during a recent church service, responding to a member’s question on whether the act was biblically forbidden.

In a video now circulating widely online, Suleman stated:

“Anything you do with your wife indoors is not a sin, so long as it’s your wife and both of you agreed. I know many will not agree with me, but oral sex is not a sin.”

He explained that sexual intimacy only becomes sinful when linked to fetish, ritualistic, or diabolical practices, stressing that the Bible upholds marital relations as sacred.

“When the Bible spoke of the wife of your youth, what do you think it meant? So long as it is not fetish, a ritual, or diabolical, it’s not wrong,” he added. “Some argue you cannot use the same mouth you serve God with for oral sex—but don’t you lie and gossip with that same mouth?”

The comments have split opinion online. Some praised Suleman’s stance as a refreshingly practical view of marital intimacy, while others condemned it as inappropriate for a pastor.

On X (formerly Twitter), @UTDVenom scoffed: “This one na pastor? Giving head is not a sin keh… Nawa o.”

Another user, @FolajeuwoNelson, wrote: “Oral sex is disgusting. I wonder how human beings even discovered they could do that.”

Supporters, however, backed the cleric. @Seth_exchange tweeted: “Yes, it is not sin as long as you’re doing it with your wife or husband.”

But critics like @Davies7Moore dismissed his teaching entirely, writing: “Jail up this man asap. Like see what a man of God is saying.”

The preacher’s controversial stance continues to ignite conversations both in the pews and across social media timelines.
