POPULAR cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, has landed in the net of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for abusing the naira notes in Lagos State.
The 33-year-old Bobrisky, who’s a social media influencer, was arrested on Wednesday at Pinnock Estate over abuse of naira, spraying of notes, and currency mutilation and is currently being detained at the Lagos Command of the EFCC.
The EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest of Bobrisky, while noting that he would be charged to court.
“Bobrisky is with us. He was arrested last night in Lagos and he is at our Lagos command. We arrested him for alleged abuse of naira notes, spraying of naira notes, and currency mutilation, among others.
“We are very serious about restoring the dignity of the naira.
“Though our investigation is still ongoing he will be charged to court soon.”
