Education District IV, NUT Surulere Strengthen Partnership, Hail Gbajabiamila’s Support for Teachers

The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Education District IV, Mr Olufemi Bamidele Paseda, has hosted the leadership of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Surulere Branch, in a collaborative meeting aimed at reinforcing the cordial relationship between the union and the district’s management.

The meeting, held at the District Headquarters, also provided an avenue to acknowledge the benevolent contributions of the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, whose continued support has significantly enhanced teacher welfare and public education across Surulere.

Characterised by mutual respect and a shared commitment to advancing education, the engagement saw union representatives express heartfelt appreciation for the district’s consistent support for teachers, schools and staff development programmes.

The NUT delegation, led by its Chairman, Comrade Mustapha Sodiq, included Comrade Giwa Oluwakemi (Secretary), Comrade Balogun Yusuf (Treasurer), Comrade Shoremekun Olugbenga (State Editor), and Comrade Arogundade Sikiru, a prominent union leader. Their presence underscored the unity and dedication of the Surulere Branch in championing teacher welfare.
