GOVERNOR of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has approved Friday February 24, as a public holiday for residents and indegenes to travel for the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday.
This was disclosed by Hon Teslim Igbalaye, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), in a circular issues and obtained on Wednesday evening.
Hon. Igbalaye said public servants were expected to utilize the opportunity to travel to their wards to partake in the crucial electoral process.
“This is the time for all citizens to exercise their voting rights. His Excellency, again, appealed to all residents to be law-abiding as they peacefully exercise their voting rights on Saturday and subsequent elections,” the SSG noted in the circular.
