A pastor identified as Abraham Yorka has been shot dead after gun wielding men invaded Oloko Community in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Narrating, Monday Piit, one of the members of the community, said that men of Oloko Community went to eat after working on a community farmland when they heard the screams of women and children.
While some natives of the community were still missing, Piit disclosed that the gunmen burnt down houses, motorcycles and shot at people.
While still counting their losses, he stated that it was later Oloko community discovered that the invasion was carried out by a local Vigilante group from a neigbouring community in Oyigbo Local Government Area.
The State Police Spokesperson, DSP Grace Koko, could not be reached for comments as of the time of filling this report.
