A chief chemist, Chief Emmanuel Bini and his sales boy have been killed by gunmen in Agbarho community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Stonix News reports that Agbarho, a stone throw from Ughelli, is a daily increasing Urhobo community notorious for crimes and criminality in the oil-rich state.
Sources said the gunmen were nothing, but suspected hired assassins based on their mode of operation at the scene of crime.
The hoodlums reportedly struck at the late Chief chemist’s PoS shop located at the popular Five-Junction in Agbarho on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Those who witnessed the killing claimed that while the sales boy was instantly murdered at the shop, the Chief, who’s a businessman, was whisked away in a vehicle.
Chief Bini’s corpse was reportedly later found at nearby Ebrumede community, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state on Monday morning, November 14.
It’s not yet certain faces of the elements who carried out the dastardly act.
However, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident, but added that the command was aware of the killing of only the businessman.
