How 100L Student Slumped, Passed During Lecture

A 100-level student of the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, Nigeria, Aminat Tajudeen, has slumped and passed while receiving a lecture in class.

The incident reportedly occurred around 1:30 p.m on Wednesday.

This came few hours after
collecting her matriculation gown for the ceremony scheduled for Thursday.

After slumping, Aminat was reportedly rushed to the school clinic where she was confirmed dead.

She was later taken to the Muslim cemetery, Osere, for her Janazah and burial.

Father of the deceased, whose name was not given, while speaking at her burial, said that her daughter showed no sign of illness prior to the incident.

“She showed no sign or symptom of any sickness. We had quite a lengthy discussion on several issues before I escorted her to get a cab to the school,” he disclosed.

Public Relations Officer of the college, Mrs Abibat Zubair, confirmed the incident.

She said: “Aminat was a student of Music/Yoruba, she was mourned by the college and students during the matriculation ceremony.”
